  • Search the library catalog for books on your main research topic/person/event or subtopics.  
    • For example, if your topic is the NAACP, search for NAACP, and expand your results with other terms like "civil rights," "W.E.B. DuBois," etc.

  • Select "People" or "History & Culture" for information about influential people, Maintained by A&E Networks

History.com
  • Select "Topics" and browse for the events that you are researching, Maintained by A&E Networks

National Archives
  • Collection of materials, including primary documents, created by or relating to the U.S. Federal Government, Maintained by The National Archives and Records Administrations

Noodletools
  • Use NoodleTools to help generate and organize citations in MLA format.  
  • Remember to cite ALL sources including images, videos, etc.
  • Once you cite a source, make your note cards and build your outline in NoodleTools.
